Mark (20 Months)

Our adventure with Mark sure has been a crazy one. I can’t believe that we are 3 1/2 months shy of Mark’s 2 year birthday. I can definitely say now that I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The last time I posted about Mark we had to go back in to see the doctor after Mark’s measurement showed that he wasn’t growing. At 15 months old he was 27 1/2 inches, and then he was the same length at 18 months. Mark’s Pedeatrician wanted to make sure that maybe it was just an error in measuring, and not something bigger. On the 6th of June we went in to make sure Mark grew something.  Mark measured in at 28 3/5 inches. He grew a little more than an inches and a quarter!

We were very excited, for anyone that has a child with that has to see tons of doctor not having to go see another one again was a relief. Mark’s doctor was happy too. Now all we have to do is wait for Mark’s 2 year appointment. Then in late October we will see Mark’s Neurologist, and Geneticist.

Mark has been changing before our eyes, and I think we have most things down to a science. Mark has been moved into a big boy bed that he seems to really enjoy. I think a lot of the excitement comes from being right next to Ella’s room, and he loves nothing more then waking her up in the morning.  Mark has mastered the art of getting on the couch and any chair he needs to. There are stools at every window so he can see what is going on, if there is a tractor in sight he is watching it. He loves taking rides in the tractor, skid steers, and trucks. He is truely a farm boy, and I don’t think anything will change that.
